About Me
Hi, I’m Nyelle Ravyn — writer, dreamer, world-builder, and (according to my readers) an expert at making people cry… on purpose. But don’t worry, I’ll also make you laugh, swoon, and probably text your best friend at 2 a.m. with “you need to read this.”
My debut novel, With the First Kiss, is where it all begins. It’s a soulmate romance inspired by the seven men who’ve shaped more of my imagination than I’ll ever admit in public (ARMY forever). They lit the spark — I just ran with it and built a world where love is dangerous, transformative, and impossible to walk away from.
When I’m not busy torturing my characters (and by extension, my readers), you’ll probably find me indulging in my favorite things:
Food: Asian cuisine is my comfort zone — give me dumplings, sushi, or a steaming hot bowl of ramen any day. I’m firmly on the savory team, but I do have a soft spot for mochi and either carrot cake or cheesecake. Chocolate desserts? Too rich for me. You can have them.
Drinks: Pepsi Zero is my one true love. Don’t hand me Coke. Don’t hand me sugar. Just Pepsi Zero. Always.
Movies: The Pirates of the Caribbean saga (because who doesn’t want to live dangerously on the high seas?), Dirty Dancing (nobody puts me in a corner), and The Fifth Element (multi-pass, enough said).
TV Shows: I grew up on Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, fell into True Blood’s delicious chaos, and loved Game of Thrones… well, most of it. Let’s just agree to pretend that last season didn’t happen, shall we?
At the core of everything I write is this: I believe stories should feel like a tidal wave. They should hit hard, sweep you under, and leave you gasping for air in the best possible way. I write about soul-deep connections, the kind of love that terrifies and transforms, the kind of bonds that don’t just change a character’s life — they rewrite it.
Building these worlds is half obsession, half rebellion. I’m the kind of writer who will stay up all night plotting, then spend the next morning teaching myself code so I can make my website glow the exact right shade of violet. I don’t do halfway. I don’t do ordinary.
